Edible electronics are on the way
Rice scientists who introduced laser-induced graphene have enhanced their technique to produce what may become a new class of edible electronics. James Tour, the T.T. and W.F. Chao Chair in Chemistry and a professor of computer science and of materials science and nanoengineering, is quoted. Co-lead authors Yieu Chyan, a graduate student, and Ruquan Ye ’15 are mentioned.
